This manual will teach you the basics of ServiceLink to help you get the most out of it. ServiceLink is a portal that allows you to connect with your service provider more efficiently to schedule jobs, review details, upload and download files, and view invoices. ServiceLink will work from your browser, tablet or phone without having to install an app.

You should have received an email from your service provider explaining how to log in. If you have not, reach out to your service provider and they will email you your credentials. The first time you log in, you will be prompted to set your password and be given a brief walkthrough of the settings.

Once logged in, you will see your dashboard that gives you an overview of your ServiceLink information. Here is a breakdown of everything you will see.

  • The colored tiles give you a high-level indicator of jobs that need to be confirmed, jobs that have recently been updated, and either your current invoice balance or a count of unpaid invoices as shown below.
  • Clicking on any tile will allow you to review the details for that tile.

Note that you are able to hide and show the side menu by clicking on the icon with three lines as shown below.

  • Clicking on the ‘Current Balance’ tile will show you the details of unpaid invoices.
  • Clicking on an order number will show you the details for that order as shown below.

  • When viewing your invoices, you will have the option to pay online. Once you’ve selected an invoice, click on the ‘Pay’ button to enter in your payment information and submit it.

  • ‘Rapid Job Request’ allows you to schedule a job requiring only the date and time and attaching a notice.
  • 'Schedule a Job' allows you to schedule a job while including more detail.

Note; Your service provider may only provide one of these options.

  • In the ‘Upcoming Jobs’ list, you can see at a glance what jobs to prepare for. For each job, you can see the case, who the witness or witnesses are, where it will be located or if it’s remote.

  • The ‘Most Recent Files Uploaded’ list displays any newly uploaded files that may need your attention. This allows you to save time by not always having to go into your jobs to check if anything new has been added.
  • Click the job number or date to view the related files.

  • On the top header bar, the arrow icon allows you to locate a specific job, invoice, or order if you know the number.
  • The phone icon allows you to quickly contact your service provider if you have questions.
  • The cart icon allows you to view invoices that you have pushed into the cart to pay.

  • The calendar allows you to easily view your jobs by day, week or month.

  • The ‘Legend’ at the top right-hand corner will describe the highlight colors to let you know if the job is cancelled, is a web request, needs to be confirmed or has been updated in the past week.

The side menu allows you to further navigate through ServiceLink.

  • ‘Activity’ displays lists of your jobs, files, orders/invoices, and payments. You can also search for details, export to PDF or Excel and view the details for these items.
  • ‘Directory’ gives you access to your cases and the related information to work from a case level. You can also view your service provider and contacts here.
  • ‘Tools’ allows you to see files shared with you by your service provider that are not related to a specific job.

To view ServiceLink on your phone, you can open the link given to you by your service provider with your web browser and log in to see the mobile view. There is no app to download to your phone for ServiceLink.

  • In the mobile view, you can confirm any job.
  • You can also view your jobs and related files.
