Recommended System Requirements

The following minimum requirements and recommendations should be used when configuring workstations and servers that run Acclaim Solaria and/or its database. Failing to meet these requirements may result in poor performance or the inability to run Solaria.

Workstations

Acclaim Solaria can be installed on a computer that meets the following recommended system requirements:

Windows Version	Windows 11, Windows server 2022+
Computer	64-Bit Dual Core Processor (Intel Core i7 or higher)
Memory (RAM)	8 GB
Hard disk space	2 GB
Monitor	Widescreen monitor with 1366 x 768 resolution
Pointing device	Microsoft mouse or compatible
Internet	An internet connection is REQUIRED.
Other	Microsoft Outlook recommended for email integration with Acclaim Solaria. Note: The “New Outlook” is not compatible with Solaria. Please use the “classic” version of Outlook.

Microsoft SQL Server

It is recommended that you install Microsoft SQL Server on a separate computer, which must meet the following minimum requirements.

Computer	64-Bit Dual Core Processor 2.0 GHz or faster
Memory (RAM)	8 GB
Hard Disk Space	50 GB
Monitor	Widescreen monitor with 1366 x 768 resolution
Pointing Device	Microsoft mouse or compatible
SQL Server Software	Microsoft SQL Server 2022. Any edition of SQL Server can be used (Express, Standard, or Enterprise). For new installs, we recommend SQL Server 2025 or higher. The Express edition of SQL Server 2025 allows for up to 50GB database sizes. Databases larger than this will require a paid Standard edition license.
